I have been in touch by chance via Horizons Unlimited with a chap called Matthew over the last few months. He is planning on travelling to Albania at a similar time to us.
Anyway via Matthew I have found this book which I thought I would recommend, about routes in Albania.
The reason I like the book is that it not only takes off road, but also cover sites to see on route. One nice feature of the book is that the Author attempts to give you an idea of difficulty and what vehicles the route was covered in.
In addition there is a decent section on cuisine and the differences between regions and a small section on language.
You can get the book here. It was about 19 euro delivered to the UK and took a couple of days to arrive.
Here is the back of the book so you can see it and the ISBN 9 788026 021360.
