Tostaree Cottages: Farmstay Camp
Tostaree Cottages: Farmstay Camping with Family Fun
The Tostaree Cottages Farmstay Camping is located in the small community of Tostaree between Nowa Nowa and Orbost in Gippsland, Victoria just off the Princes Highway (A1).
The camping is in a small grassy paddock located on a friendly family-run farm, they also have cottages that you can book to stay, subject to availability.
The paddock has a nice view over the surrounding farmland and hills, giving it a relaxed vibe and a peaceful place to catch your breath on your trip.
We stopped here for the day to do some work for the day on the road whilst heading out on a long weekend overlanding in the Snowy River National Park. The owners are very friendly and love to have a good chat.

Our Experience
Tostaree Cottages provides a delightful farm stay experience. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to watch the farm animals in the adjacent paddocks, whilst we worked.
Making contact with the owners before you arrive is essential, to ensure there is adequate space. When we called ahead, we were told to make ourselves comfortable and that they would find us later.
Sure enough Vicki the owner showed up for a chat and let us know how to pay, by bank transfer as we did not have cash. It was nice chatting with Vicki about the world and travels.
The facilities, located at the back of the games room were clean and well-maintained, and the owners were welcoming and helpful.
