Fish Burgers at Masa

One of the highlights for us of a visit to the Tsukiji fish market was trying the delicious fish burgers at Masa. This small stand is located inside the market and has been serving up fresh, locally sourced fish burgers for over a decade.

What sets Masa’s burgers apart from others is the quality of the ingredients. All of the fish used in the burgers is sourced from the market itself, ensuring that it’s always fresh and of the highest quality.

One of the most popular burgers at Masa is the tuna burger, which is made with fresh, marinated tuna that’s been seasoned with a special sauce. The burger is topped with lettuce, tomato, and a tangy, sweet sauce that perfectly complements the flavor of the tuna. Another must-try burger is the salmon burger, which is made with fresh, locally sourced salmon that’s been seasoned with herbs and spices. The burger is topped with avocado, lettuce, and a delicious aioli sauce that brings out the flavors of the salmon.

Masa is a little tricky to find, some locals said asked us if we were lost, we said no… To which they answered there is european food over there. We politely said no thanks.

But Masa’s offerings go beyond just fish burgers. The stand also offers a variety of other delicious seafood dishes, including grilled squid, fried shrimp, and even fresh oysters. All of the dishes are made with the freshest ingredients available, ensuring that each bite is packed with flavor and texture.

One of the things that sets Masa apart from other stands in the market is the atmosphere. The stand is located right in the heart of the Tsukiji fish market, which means that visitors get to witness the hustle and bustle of the market up close. Watching the fishmongers at work, the constant flow of people, and the energy of the market is truly a unique experience that’s hard to find anywhere else.
